Description
Description: Chinese Yixing teapot of compressed round form, thickly lacquered with red cinnabar lacquer. The lacquer carved with pumpkin motifs, tendrils and a finely intricated pattern especially on the lid, which has a movable inset, probably meant to hold a bamboo handle.
Dating: 19th century
