Description:   Chinese porcelain teapot painted in qianjiang style with two figures, and bearing an inscription which reads: 壶中春蕊可以清心  庚子初冬写于  高恒生作 that it translates as “The Chunrui tea in the pot can clear the heart. Written in the early winter of Gengzi year (1900) by Gao Hangsheng”.  Chunrui(春蕊) is a wild-grown green tea, a product of Dabie Mountain (大别山). Dabie Mountain is situated at the junction of Anhui, Hubei and Henan provinces.

Dating:  1900, Guangxu period.

Size:  11 cm high
