Description

Description:  Chinese carved cinnabar lacquer snuff bottle of flattened heart form, carved to each side with a scene of a village at the shore of a lake in a mountainous landscape, surrounded by pine, willow and wutong trees.

Foot/base:  Concave, black painted

Mark:  Gilded four characters Qianlong mark

Dating:  18^th / 19^th Century.

Material:  Cinnabar lacquer on metal body

Size:  63 mm high

Stopper:  Chrysanthemum carved cinnabar lacquer with metal collar and ivory spoon.
