Description: Chinese gourd bottle incised with a scene representing three Scholars in a landscape, and a poem on the other side. An ivory collar at the mouth.
The artist incised the inscription by taking extracts from several old poems, which meaning was mainly related to the changes in the World, suggesting that one should retire and relax without being too much involved.
