Description: Chinese sapphire blue overlay on snowflake glass snuff bottle of compressed round form, exceptionally well carved with a cricket over his gourd shaped cage, uncovered, with the lid nearby. On the other side, a crab in a woven basket. The quality of this bottle is of high grade. Note, for example, the accurate shaping and polishing of the carapace of the crab.
