Description
Tazza (actually a porcelain plate, mounted on a white metal foot) from the late Meiji or early Taisho period. In the well a desert scene: A rider on a camel besides a tent; in the background, palms and a pyramid. Around the rim, stylised floral decoration, lavishly gilded.
