Description
Doll for the hina matsuri, the doll’s (or girl’s) festival, which is celebrated annually on the third of March. This is the prince, who, together with the princess, sits on the highest step of the display. The face and hands are made of gofun, a white pigment made from shells; the clothes are made of silk.
